Since first taking to a go-kart on his 7th Birthday, Kean Nakamara-Berta has rapidly grown his natural talent for racing, to become the one-to-watch in the future of motorsport.
Making his competition debut at the 2018 Kartmasters British Grand Prix (Cadet Class), Kean drove to an impressive 4th place. Since his strong introduction to the world karting scene, the Japanese racer has continued his upward trajectory to take wins in 2019 Motorsport UK Kartmasters Grand Prix - IAME Cadet and the IAME International Final - X30 Mini. Moving up the ranks to place as runner-up in the WSK Super Master Series and Euro Series in 2020.
Last year was the true showing of the talented young driver as he placed a close second in the Champions Cup, ending the year as the coveted FIA Karting World Champion in the OK-Junior category. His impressive career so far attracted the attention of Alpine F1 Team, who welcomed him into their junior driver academy in 2022.
For 2022, Kean moves up to the OK Karting series, driving for Kart Republic.
