Infinity Sports Management are delighted to confirm that FIA OKJ World Champion Kean Nakamura-Berta has been announced as a founding member of the new Alpine Academy Affiliate Programme.
The programme, created by the BWT Alpine Formula 1 team, aims to support and nurture promising young racing drivers as they begin their careers in motorsport, as well as acting as a potential feeder program for the Alpine Academy.
As an affiliate member of the Academy Kean will be offered career advice, training, mentoring, PR training as well as access to the world-class facilities on offer at the Academy’s headquarters in Enstone.
Commenting on this latest step in his career Kean said:
“I’m extremely grateful to Alpine for this opportunity. For sure, it’s going to be a hard but super exciting journey ahead and being an associate will definitely help me develop and grow as a driver. I’ve already had my first taste of the program and enjoyed every moment. I will keep working diligently alongside the team to build our relationship, and I'll see what the future brings. I can’t thank enough to everyone for all the help and support to get me to this point."
Mia Sharizman, Alpine Academy Director, added:
“We are very excited to announce our Alpine Affiliates programme which will work alongside the Academy from this year. The programme will help provide young racing drivers across the world with crucial support, career advice and training. We have five young drivers entering the programme this year as we welcome Abbi, Hadrien, Nikola, Kean and Matheus into our team. Longer term we envisage the Alpine Affiliate programme acting as a feeder for our Academy, as we strive to continue recruiting the most talented young drivers across the globe to future proof Alpine’s success in motor racing.”
