Going into the weekend, Nikita Johnson was hunting down a top-ten Championship finish.

In Race 1 Johnson started P12 on the grid. Impressively, he made up three places on the first lap to maintain P6 where he stayed until the chequered flag was waved.

Johnson started P9 on the grid for Race 2. Despite disruption on track caused by the safety car, he remained consistent and was able to execute a solid race to maintain P9.

In the final race of the weekend, and Championship, victory came. Johnson executed a perfect race from pole to P1.
