Infinity Sports Management and 2022 LMP2 Pro Am ELMS champions Racing Team Turkey and delighted to announce Charlie Eastwood will remain with the team to fight to maintain their title crown in the TF Sport-run Oreca this season.
Joining Charlie this year will be his retuning team mate Salih Yoluç and a new team mate, Swiss Louis Delétraz.
A change to the LMP2 Pro Am regulations will see the Bronze driver take on the qualifying sessions for the first time in the championship’s history, meaning reigning champion and 24 Hours of Le Mans winner Yoluç, will do the honours of setting the grid slot for each round this season.
Another addition to 2023 is the introduction of a night race at Motorland Aragón on August 26. Once again, all races will be streamed live and for free on the ELMS YouTube channel.
The official Prologue and the opening round make a return to Circuit de Barcelona Catalunya for the 2023 season, on April 20 and 23 respectively.
Charlie Eastwood - “I’m really looking to being back in the ELMS for the third year, I think last year we all made such a big step as the team and the drivers and I hoping we can do that step again. Obviously our goal is to try and retain the Pro-Am title. Looking forward to get cracking!’
Tom Ferrier, TF Sport Director - “It’s great to head back to the European Le Mans Series with Racing Team Turkey to defend the championship title this year. Having the reigning overall ELMS champion Louis join the line up will only help to improve on the successes we achieved last season. Salih has shown massive improvements year-on-year and with his record of being the fastest in the majority of the Bronze driver sessions in 2022, I have no doubt that we will be seeing many pole positions for the Racing Team Turkey crew!”
