A Solid Weekend in Barcelona as Italian F4 Completes Round 6

The Formula 4 Italian Championship returned to the track last weekend and with three races, there were many podiums and points up for grabs.

In Race 1, Kean Nakamura-Berta had a strong qualifying but a collision on the opening lap set him back slightly - he achieved P12 overall. Gianmarco Pradel maintained good pace and ended in P10. Maxim Rehm had a strong race after achieving P6 in the main race, and P2 in the Rookie class.

For Race 2, Nakamura-Berta, Pradel, and Rehm all qualified in the top-10. Nakamura-Berta and Pradel were able to maintain their positions as they fought through the pack - coming home in P4 and P5 overall with Nakamura-Berta taking P1 in Rookie class. For Rehm, once the safety car was in, he battled with many cars on track and ended the race in P12.

During the last race of the weekend, all drivers qualified in podium-fighting positions. As the lights went out, the fight was on. On minute 13, Pradel made the move on Slater which promoted him to P2 - soon after, Nakamura-Berta followed suit. For the remainder of the race, the drivers remained P2 and P3 and shared the podium. Rehm managed another P12 finish.

The Championship will conclude on October 27 at Autodromo Nazionale Monza.
